In 2024, a group of local businesses came together at Element Outdoors shop. What unfolded during that casual chat became known as the CO-OP. The Community Off-Road Overland Project brought together several companies to work together for each others' success. Three of the founding members (Element Outdoors, Western Slope 4x4, and Colorado Adventure Box) realized that like-minded people with similar business models would provide a perfect platform.
An example of how the CO-OP works: Take Element Outdoors, a recreational vehicle rental company. When Element has clients who rent fully equipped overland trucks and those clients want to explore the Utah or Colorado backcountry, they encourage those clients to use Voyager Outdoors as their guide service. Voyager Outdoors is a fully permitted and insured off-road and overland outfitter who can safely lead those folks through the backcountry. Conversely, when Voyager Outdoors is out in the wild guiding clients, we are often asked by people, "How can we rent vehicles to get out and explore in?" Voyager Outdoors will refer those people to Element Outdoors. Another example is, "Where can we buy those top-of-the-line cargo boxes?" Well, Voyager will refer those potential customers over to Colorado Adventure Box or Goose Gear. Same works for our motorcycle-minded folks with MotoMinded and Rogue Moto. In short, we are stronger together.
The CO-OP works with many companies at this time from repair services, motorcycle tour companies, training companies, off-road gear companies, parts and accessories, and so much more. If you have read this far, there is a good chance the CO-OP has you covered in your interest to get out and explore!
Instead of watching YouTube, Come out and go hands on with recovery training.
Whatever your adventure, the CO-OP has you covered.
